				| Hi, am thinking of coming to teach in Taiwan this July
 1. Is it possible to get a job in July?, In Europe everything is semester based so you can only work from September to june.

 2. Are there any schools that help develop you professionally and allow you freedom in how you plan your lessons. I have a Celta and want a job where I'm using these skills. Also are there any schools that also train people for the Delta certificate?

 3. What kind of criminal check do you need for the visa? extensive or standard? How long does it take to obtain if you are British?

 Thanks

 Nick

				| Then how about some quick answers.
 1. Yes it is possible to get a job in July but schools are semester based, so Ausgust, or late Jan/early Feb are best times to start work. But arrive a couple weeks earlier to find the job.

 2. Some schools are entirely structured and give you no room to move. Others are entirely unstructured and you have to develop your own lessons yourself. It all depends on what type of teacher you are. I do recommend new teachers to go to a school with a steady curriculum for their first year.

 Not sure about Delta training.

 3. No criminal check is necessary. Unless you have been here for at least 5 years and looking at getting permanest residency.
