I was just reading the "English Time-Ankara" thread. The one where mathew187 in ranting and raving, Big3bc gets defensive and then flutterbayou drops some knowledge. It was quite a good read but at the end someone said that our friends at the border are not allowing teachers back into Turkey and my heart skipped a beat. I have been fully legal for a couple years but recently decided to return to dershane to escape the 8 to 5 thing and my passport is FULL of those little visa stickers from my first years in Turkey. Any updates on this issue? Will a new passport be enough?

Well what do you know, if it isn't Veli, ready enough to be aggressive and personal about another participant on Daves ESL Cafe. That's 4 people now to my count. By the way, you saying you were so superior, I would have thought you had a work permit as a professional teacher. You are qualified and experienced aren't you??? Furthermore, the discussion was on Izmir and not the earnings and pay of Istanbul which is quite a different matter. Your job title says something about Ingilizce but I'm pretty sure that's not in the English dictionary as an adjective, leave alone a job (dah common noun). Somebody has some input to a thread and you don't like it. What do you do? You try to ridicule them. Why are you trying so hard to silence people? Is there something to hide? Wink

Sorry, I only converse with native speakers. I can't make any sense of your comments.

No don't delete it. Why delete it? I purely stated a fact. Even so called 'non native' speakers are allowed a voice. Ah then again, Veli wrote on another thread that I should be silenced. I have never looked for trouble. I only want discussion and try and expect sensitivity. Smile

Scot,
Please feel free. But let's keep it clean. No grandma talk. I was really hurt by that negative nelly comment.
