Dear veiledsentiments,
One of the greatest woman tennis players:

"Sarah Virginia Wade (born 10 July 1945, in Bournemouth, Dorset, United Kingdom) is a former professional tennis player from the United Kingdom. She won three Grand Slam singles titles and four Grand Slam doubles titles. She won the women's singles title at Wimbledon in the tournament's centenary year on 1 July 1977, the last time a Briton has won a singles title there."

I can recall seeing her play.

Regards,
John

Dear veiledsentiments,
Kipling is doing a "running joke" here, mixing up Virginia Woolf with Virginia Wade.
Regards,
John

I'm not interested in your stuff Kipling. I'm just trying to get one post closer to my avatar. It seemed this was an appropriate post to do it on.

Sorry

Wait... you need X number of posts to have an avatar? Haven't heard of that one. I seem to recall a newbie that had one just lately on her post number one.

Quite right. I've said this before and I'll say it again.
Without connections it's a complete and utter WASTA time.

Light bulbs not supplied? What, is there a ligh-bulb black market in this place? What else is the pad lacking? Fridge? Toilet? Electrical wiring? It does have four walls, a roof, and a floor, right? Or would I have to put those in? And if I did, would I get them back after the contract?

Imagine carrying a WALL or a toilet through airport customs. "It's MINE, dammit!" I'm takin' it home with me!"
