I realize that. I have lived, studied and worked in other countries besides my own (most notably Greece), so I do have a fair impression of the emigration process and the challenges of adjusting to life in a different culture. And while I do try to prepare myself by doing research on the internet and general reading, I know from experience that life springs surprises on you anyway, so I've learnt to be flexible.

Okay, so I think I'll go for the online option then. Going all the way to the States would be way too much of a detour anyway (Europe or Asia were options I did consider).
