Felt in DF at 5.9 Richter, with epicenter in Puebla.
I was giving a class on the second floor, so felt it strong and long. Any other experiences? |

I was on the 3rd floor of my apartment when it seemed to bounce up and down. I experienced earthquakes in Indonesia but this was by far the strongest I had experienced.
I was told that the up and down motion was not a good thing. |

I was sitting in my apt on the first floor when it happened. It seemed like the building was swaying back and forth like a piece of paper. It was my first real earthquake.
Scary!

I barely felt it. I just felt a slight movement and saw my table barely move. I had to turn on the TV to confirm it was a quake.
I've been through some real rough shakes in California. Hope things stay calm here in Mexico. |
