Hi everyone. I have been thinking of applying to Prince Sultan Womens Section for September 09. I have looked on their site, and this one but the information that is available is old. Can anyone tell me about their employment package, specifically salary, housing, accommodation and work schedule?
Thanks. |

From what I know, salaries in PSU are about average for the Kingdom. There are places that pay better, but also places that pay a good deal worse. The exact amount depends on qualifications and experience - from what I've heard negotiation is possible, if they want you enough.
A few years ago all teachers were in roomy apartments in the DQ, but I don't think that's the case now, or at least not for all teachers. Holidays are pretty generous with 60 days paid leave in the summer and the usual Eid breaks.
All in all, PSU isn't a bad place to work - provided you can turn a blind eye to some rather bizarre work practices. In other words, not that different from many other places in KSA. |

Thanks Cleo. I managed to talk to someone at PSU and get a general idea about the package. You're right in all things.
I do have to say that I am currious about the "bizarre" work practices. Care to enlighten? |
