Is it just me, or is this strangely unbelievable? Scam alarm bells are ringing. If not, isn't everyone applying? Have I missed old threads on this?
(I haven't put the contact details in case it seems like I'm doing advertising for this guy, someone tell me if it's safe to do so)

Your country code for proper conversation??? Er... he says he's in the UK which happens to be full of trained native speakers. This is so bad it's funny. |

I reckon the scammers would have more success if they didn't say they will pay such outlandish wages. I'd be much more likely to fall for something that pays 1000 - 1600 than I would something that pays 3,500. |

This is a 419 scam to be exact. They usually come from the west coast of Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast etc,. These scams are usually set up in the hope that they can bait you into sending them money- usually for 'lawers fees, bank fees etc,. They sometimes work too, with gullable greedy people thinking they can make a bit of cash.
The fact that he refers to himself as Engr. in the title- what engineer does that!? It's not like Rev. or Dr. or Prof. is it? Next the scammer has to think of a German name to fit his new persona. Hmm German....Luther!, as in Martin. He refers to his wife as my beloved wife...it 's just phrases that I've seen too many time reading this sort of ****.
Go to 419eater.com and you'll see what I mean. Nasty vicious gangsters. Also go to youtube and search for nigerian dead parrot sketch where you'll see the scammers being scammed. |

|
|
I receive four or five e-mails per week, usually in my hotmail junk folder, purporting to be from persons in various African countries who allege they have been left or are responsible for, enormous sums of money left by deceased persons and requesting my help to enable them to transfer it abroad to a foreign bank,in return for various percentages ranging from five to ten percent.....I have also recently received notifications from a 'Professor' with an address somewhere in Watford, informing me I have won hundreds of thousands of pounds in a lottery!!!
Of course they are all scams, usually run by Nigerian gangsters who hope some unsuspecting fool will reply and then be ready to send them their 'fees' for processing the money etc....I know of one elderly man in Cyprus who answered one of these letters and actually went to Amsterdam as instructed by them and was then mugged and beaten-up at Schiphol Airport!!They even broke his glasses and left him lying on the pavement in the rain, where he was found by an employee and taken to hospital.
The golden rule is:if you didn't buy a lottery ticket you can't have won and if you don't know anyone in Africa, how and why did they find you?
The same goes for a job offer:they pay you for working for them, not you pay them!No exceptions.....but there's always a new mug born every day!!
Take care everyone! |
