Is it possible to leave the country , like for summer break, and get back in on your Z visa/resident permit? It used to be ok, has this changed? My resident permit is only for 6 months even though I'm on a year contract, they said because it's Xinjiang's "way". But it wouldn't expire until late Sept.
thanks. |

A Resident's Permit allows you to exit the Mainland at any time during its validity, and no reentry permit is required until it expires.
You can therefore leave China during the upcoming summer holiday and return before the end of August on your current RP.
If this weren't true it would say SINGLE-ENTRY on the top of it. |
