I mean, after you graduated, how long did it take your university to send you your degree? My first one was 4 to 6 weeks. Now, I just finished at a Spanish uni, and it takes 10 to 12 months, yes, months. For me to get my degree, that's not including the time for them to verify everything.
I don't know, sounds weird, plus the 400 euros they want. I mean, I could make a baby in less time than it takes them to print my degree, sign and stamp it. |

University of Birmingham (England version) had mine to me within 30 days:)
But I think the MA cost vastly more overall than what you say you've paid...maybe it's all about economics? |

No, I don't think it's economics, I think it's creating jobs and pushing papers. |

Mine took a little over a week after I finished my last class to confer my degree and send me the diploma. |

When I studied a language qualification at the Escola Oficial d'idioms, Barcelona, I was told that all post-secondary qualifications in Spain are signed by the King, and there is a waiting list for his valuable signing time. No idea if it's true, but it's what they told me to explain the 6 to 12 month delay in getting my diploma. (And since I left the country, I never got it!)
Best,

400 Euros for a piece of paper?!?!? I think I only have to pay if I want additional copies (or maybe that's just for extra transcripts).
I don't remember how long it took to get mine, but that probably just means that it was reasonable--therefore unmemorable.

I finished my degree in Oz in November and received my degree in April (graduation ceremony was late-March, I think). That's pretty standard in Australia. |

Here in Mexico it takes anywhere from 3 months to a year and a half depending on the process but it's always lengthy.
In California mine took a few weeks after graduation because they had to print up so many and make sure there was nothing wrong with our transcripts. |

That is crazy.
I finished classes for my BA in Humanities here in Texas on August 5th and picked up my degree on August 12th.
7 days...not too shabby. |

It took about three years for my BA because I did not have my tuition paid. As soon as the tuition was paid, I received it immediately.
When I got my MA TESOL, I finished in April and received the diploma the first part of May.
When I got my MA Organizational Leadership I didn't fill out the proper paperwork and so did not receive the diploma for a year... took me six months or more to realize that I had not done all the paperwork. I wasn't worried as I had already been working anyway. |
