Has anyone worked with Bridge TEFL or another online TEFL certification program?? Any suggestions? Thanks!

They did not offer the 100 hr. certificate when I took the class. The only difference that I can see is the price and the grammar module. The basic program and some volunteer teaching provided me with the basic foundation to start teaching. I think they are a good company.[/u] |

Yea they have 40, 60, 100 and 120 hour programs. I thought the 100 would be a better choice but maybe i should look into volunteer teaching with the 60 hour. And yes the 100 is more expensive but Bridge TEFL is much cheaper then most other certification programs. I looked at oxford and it was like $1200 for 60 hours! Thanks for the feedback!  |

Don't forget to get some teaching hours.
Unless you want to be stuck in some hell-hole school that hires anybody. |

You want a certification that is at least 100 hours and as many hours in the classroom as humanly possible. That will give you a good start to your teaching career, both in terms of getting a job and being as prepared as possible (which isn't much). |
