Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up on the evening of Sunday, June 21, or Monday, June 22? I'll be in Kuwait to interview for an English teaching position, and I'll be staying in a hotel in the Salmiya neighborhood.
It would be great to get any input from teachers, especially anyone connected with AUM or other private universities.
Having said that, I'm pretty sure that you all have better things to do than talk to potential teachers. But maybe I could return the favor by bringing any small items from the States that might be hard to find in Kuwait (except, of course, the obvious alcoholic ones).
If anyone is interested, please private message me. Thanks for all of the input on other posts. I think my questions are all rather basic - cost-of-living, finding housing, leasing a car, teaching conditions, job satisfaction, etc. But it would really help to talk to someone and hear first-hand about life in Kuwait. |
