If I send a photo on my resume, should I dye my hair blonde to get a little bit of an advantage? I hear the schools there want that typical blonde hair, blue eyes teacher. ( i don't have blue eyes though. ) I know this won't help as much as TESOL but it's a start! ha ha.

Or if you have a photo program like photoshop, you can just give yourself blonde hair and blue eyes digitally. Then those job offers will start rolling in! Rolling Eyes

You said it son! Cool Bolnding up is like Blacking up! It is a disgrace to the human race Cool If you think you must look blond to get a job it is like you are saying that you will work for racists and try to get in those racist good books. How terrible! Rolling Eyes

No, definitely not. If it is at all obvious that that is not your natural colour (eyebrow colour not matching for example), then it could actually be a handicap. I have brown hair and hazel eyes and it has never been an issue. The "blue eyes, blonde hair" thing has not really been a "requirement" here since probably the 80s- it's not something any reputable employer worries about.
