Dear littleoldlady,
Hmm - I wonder if NCTBA was referring to another poster (who shall remain unnamed) rather than to you. I strongly suspect that's the case.
Regards,
John |

Dear LOL,
"Maybe I could knit them all together....."
You mean a UFT (Unified Field Theory?) That would be super. Al tried to do it with relativity and electromagnetism, but to no avail (actually, Noah Vail also tired and failed.)
But to the best of my knowledge, nobody's attempted it yet using knitting needles. So, I say GO FOR IT, LOL.

John |

Oh Mr John
Laughing so much I have dropped my stitches and am in stitches too. The good people of Wales think I am bonkers. (Typing this in the fish market after work). Cod only knows why |

Dear LOL,
Well, remember - "A stitch in time . . ." (which, by the way, is a great SF short-story by John Wyndham (1961)):
"Stitch in Time concerns an elderly lady reflecting on a lost love and, thanks to her sons' experiments with time, finally discovering the reason why her lover abandoned her so many years ago."
"Cod only knows why."
Maybe just for the halibut?
Regards,
John |

Mr John - If only I had your sharpness of mind! Mind you, this fish market is not the PLAICE to be for checking messages.
NCTBA - of COURSE I didn't think you were referring to MOI. Am knitting in some critters in your present |

Dear littleoldlady,
Not so strange - if you'll use the link below, you'll see how one can multi-task using a frozen daiquiri neck bag - it keeps you cool while the nozzle, inserted into what is technically known as the "pie-hole", provides liquid refreshment.

Ahhh. Yes you are right. A nifty little device. I think I will stock up on those. NCTBA has an interesting diet doesn't he? Mugbugs and daiquiri pouring from his neck. He obviously has his mouth full because his English has become very strange.
Is NCBTA an unusual case or is this an American "thing?" |
