Hi, I'm new to the forum and teaching English. I've just started my job search for job in Taiwan and am finding that a lot of the ads ask for a scan of degree and passport as well as various other documents. I'm just wondering is that normal? Is it safe to be passing that information through? Also, how long does it usually take to hear back from the school or recruiting companies? I've been applying to a lot of postings and agencies but haven't heard back from anyone yet which has me a little weary. Any help or advice would be VERY much appreciated!!! Thanks.
