If I were you I would get a new FMT as soon as possible, then look for another job. It may help if you are able to speak with someone who has gone through this process with the school that hires you, so that you know they'll stick to their word.

I had a similar experience with a language school when I first moved to Mexico, which was very frustrating. I realize that it is extra work for them to help you out, but they end up making their foreign teachers feel duped when they don't stick to their word. And they wonder why their teacher-retention rates are so low Rolling Eyes

Yeah, I'm just going to get out soon and get a new FMT. The guys who run this place are liars and thieves; I don't expect to see any of my papers or the money they owe me any time soon.

So why are you still there? Aren't you worried about getting fined and deported? If these people are such scumbags it would take nothing for them to get you out of their hair by blowing the whistle on you with Immigration, knowing you are in the country illegally. It happens.
