I recall a news story from the Buenas Aires Herald about a guy who stepped out of his apartment to buy smokes. As he was leaving the building, another resident was trying to leap to his death from an upper floor. Landed on the smoker and killed him. Jumper survived. Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug.

Don't blame the class clown. Do it in a small group when you are looking at some test papers and accuse the most innocent-looking student.
