Yeah, all this petty sociual insurance, salaries, interviews are sometimes just so insignificant when we haven't a clue why we are here Razz

I remember a student asking when showing a map of the world "why are there lines between countires and can you see these lines".

ANyway, back to the REAL world of English Language Teaching Rolling Eyes Wink

I didn't use my eclipse glasses because the cloud cover was so heavy that I doubt I would have seen it if I had. If retinal damage has been done it is not yet apparent Cool The clouds only thinned enough for me to see a split second glimpse a couple of times anyway.

A friend of mine got a cellphone photo, but nothing too impressive I'm afraid.

It was really cloudy where I was, but we did get a few glimpses of it. Pretty cool stuff. Some people were also watching a tv broadcast from Okinawa at the same time, and that was awesome. (The Okinawa version of the eclipse, not the fact that they were watching it on tv.... Wink )
