|
|
hello all,
i'm coming from the US and going to be taking the CELTA in HCMC that begins on Oct 5. I've never been to Vietnam and before the course will have to secure a place to live/somewhat settle into the city/country.
Any advice on how much time I should allow myself to do these and other necessary things before the course begins? I'm thinking about a week should be good...
Thanks |

A week is usually more than enough.
Swine flu is beginning to affect Vietnam with over 500 reported cases so far. The government is still trying to contain it and one of the government's suggestions is that teachers shouldn't be allowed on a school's premises until they have been in the country for 5 day or more and are showing no flu symptoms. Believe this is just a suggestion at present.
I assume that when they think about this more, if they do implement it, it will not just apply to teachers. |
