I'm planning on going to Hong Kong to get my Z visa. Originally I planned for around a week plus a weekend stay (7 days), but I've been told that work visa now is taking longer to process because they are sending your documents back to your home country. It was advised that I stayed there for 2 full weeks (10 business days). Is that necessary, if I pay for express service?
I'm asking because my flight ticket is cheaper if I stay in HK for shorter period of time.

| I got mine same day, express service, but that was a couple of years ago. Maybe the rules have changed since then. Your Invitation Letter needs to state that you are to apply in HK, if you are to avoid that rule you mention. Sorry I can't help further. |

| hmmm...lthe first time I got mine the same day. My second trek I had things secured before I left Canada. |
