Well, I hate to swim against the current, but I like hunky guys. Then again I like the pretty boys and the scrawny intelligent ones too.
Not so much into the balding men, Patrick just doesn't do it for me. That might be because I'm only nineteen, and my dad isn't even bald yet. Any bald or balding man I brought home would probably get his @ss kicked for going after me.
My last boyfriend (First True love) was fairly hunky and I liked that. I could cry into his shoulder on the side of the road when I crashed my car. If we went hiking and I was having serious troubles he was always strong enough to help me out.
But of course he was intelligent and we got along well (some of the time ).
I like the pretty boys Brad (from 12 Monkeys and Fight Club) and Tom.
My love of Tom Cruise stems from my love of 80's movies. How can you not like him in Risky Business and Cocktail.
And you've gotta love Johnny Depp. He's good for the dark artistic types.
Oh and the bad boys, can't forget them. Charlie Sheen and Judd Nelson (Breakfast Club) are good bad boys (one in real life, the other acting).
And Woody Harrelson always seems fun.
I think Dennis Leary is too smart and angry, I would feel stupid (love his stand-up, though). I'd go for Jon Stewart's witty banter, anyday.
And recently, one of the young Mexican boys from Y Tu Mama Tambien (not in that movie necessarily ) has been looking attractive.
And of course, for the older, older man I'd have to go for Sean Connery.
Wow! My list seems really long. But I guess that's what happens when you're recently single and stuck in China, avoiding the immature Chinese boys and the creepy ex-pats that won't take no for an answer. You need to have someone safe to think about.
I think that my celebrity crushes are based mainly on attitude, not hunkyness.
Well, I think I've let you see enough of my fantasy life for now.
OH! And Keanu (I think he's hunky )
~Ha Ha Ha! Good thing I previewed that. Tom Cruise in Co.cktail. You can say woody, but you can't say co.cktail? Where's the logic?
The Wilson brothers and Matthew McConaughey (for southern charm) too.. |

Cleopatra,
I read a few articles about Mr Pitt a few years back, when he and Ms Aniston were touring Europe in a refreshingly non-celeb style. Brad apparently is quite well educated in architecture and design and would likely have studied it formally had he not been blessed with Hunk Qualities. |

Sara, what about a young William Shatner? You are breaking my heart |
Aww.. I'm sorry! But I grew up watching Star Trek and I always got the impression that he had bats in his belfry. He was also a bit of a womanizer.. and that really grossed me out. |

Viggo Mortensen speaks 5 languages? Now that is very attractive. He has to go on my list now! |

Hey Sara. WHat's with the photos? I can perhaps understand Jean-luc, but the next guy looks like an aging talk show host, followed by either a girly boy or a goth chick, then a chick. Are you implying that you don't discriminate on the basis of gender? |

Not to be flippant, but....WHOOPEE SH*T! I don't care if he is gay, straight, twisted or purple with pink polka dots, his intellect and charisma are enough for me. There are plenty of interesting gay men who are lovely to look at as well as to be friends with. Does his *possibly* being gay make him less of a man? IMHO, not at all.
*stepping off soapbox now* *Ah-hem* |

Dear Sara Avalon,
"I'd just love to have coffee with Patrick, Alex or Gackt and hear them speak... The fantasy that they may have profound things to say really just melts me."
Coffee, you say. Coffee and nothing more - except, of course those "profound things"?? Sounds like a Platonic relationship (definition: that relationship which exists between two people, attracted to each other, from the time they meet - up until the first kiss).
But here's a list of "what women want" in a man at various stages of life.
http://www.tim-patton.net/files/what_women_want_in_a_man.htm
OK, bit of a joke there - but here's what I'd say is a more accurate list. Am I right, ladies?

Regards,
John |

Actually.. no I don't discriminate between genders.... Everyone's lovable, if you know what I mean.. *COUGH*
John, again I don't really equate attraction and sex. I've never looked at anyone and said "Gee.. I wonder how good they would be in bed." Maybe I'm asexual and prefer platonic relationships.. *ponders* |

Johnslat pointed us to a website that advises
| Quote: |
Women want men to communicate. Women specifically want communication about feelings, needs, wants, hopes, dreams, problems, solutions and all other things which make a relationship work. Women also want communication about expectations and plans. Women would rather put things on the table than sweep
them under the rug. Women want men to communicate, listen and respond.

OK, OK, I'm listening. |

I got halfway through that website and gave up.
What I *don't want* is a list of rules and guidelines of how either myself or my partner should be. I want to walk through life with my partner by my side, someone who will be my friend, and take each day as it comes.
Even when its really dark and I can't see what they look like!
Oh, and they have to be able to change the washer in a tap, because I don't know how do to that!
Have a great day.

I also gave up while reading johnslat's list. I didnt' really see myself reflected in it, so I started to wonder if maybe I wasn't womanly enough...
