I think the new requirement for working in the HK NET are an English Language Degree & Postgraduate Teaching qualification (e.g. a four-week TEFL diploma course) rather than a Bachelor of Education Degree, right?
Would Lancaster's MA TESOL City University or Chinese University qualify you to work on the HK NET? |

Wrong....
They are still looking for people with education degrees...they have amended their requirements to say that if you have TESL/TEFL at the diploma level...that is a one year course...then you will be given priority...that is on top of having your B'Ed or equivalent...
and without a B'Ed or equiv....your salary tops out at 22K a month...no matter how much experience you have.. |

You can actually do a DELTA..diploma of english language teaching to adults..or some such thing..with Cambridge in 2-3 months full time..below is taken from the Cambridge DELTA web site..
"You can take DELTA full time (typically 2-3 months), or part time (from six months to over a year)." |
