If the contract you receive is reasonable, sign it. If it is slightly unreasonable, you can gently request small changes. If it is completely unreasonable, don't try to negotiate it --- just walk away. They're not going to hire you anyway if you push to make MAJOR changes to a contract. The contract represents what they are looking for, and if you're not what they are looking for, you might as well give up on the job right now.
Just my opinion. |
This is more than opinion. I'm finding it to be gospel. But they're doing me a favor by passing on me. I get to stay on the beach longer, get more sleep, and keep more of what's in my wallet. I'd rather spend that equivalent of two months' wages resting on Phuket drinking martinis. |

The binding of an Al Shabaka contract has the adhesive strength of flour paste.

You need to tell that to the long list of pollyannas who have been given a Shabaka contract and will start work soon. I sure as heck can't reach them. I get rocks thrown down on me when I try to warn them off. MOD EDIT |

Thank you VS
I do not attack people, just send them twisted evil faces. Is that so bad?
