Upon entering the Kingdom do employers reimburse (medical and visa expenses) the expats right away until pay period? How does this work? |

hahahahahaha! Right away? From Saudi employers? Dream on. You'll still be waiting for reimbursement months after you start. |

From what I have read here, some employers never reimburse these expenses.

You might want to pursue the avenue of approach that a former boss revealed to me:
"If Major Aziz won't budge, tell him that you're going to the American Embassy to report him!"

I must have been dreaming when I got all my expenses reimbursed within days of arrival. PMU does not equal all Saudi employers.
But to give a general answer, some employers sooner or later reimburse all visa related expenses (keep the receipts), others don't. It depends on your employer's policy in this regard. Best to ask them directly. |

I also got all my expenses within a day or two of my arrival (Institute of Public Administration, Riyadh), so, once again, it all depends on your employer, how hard you POLITELY request, and how accommodating the individual(s) in charge of reimbursement are.

My bad
I should have stated that my specific experience has been that it is difficult to get reimbursement. There is a great deal of variation in the financial reliability of different institutions in KSA, and the one I worked for was not terribly reliable. Others, as you have pointed out, could be very reliable in terms of reimbursement of expenses. |

sometimes, if we lose a little bit , knowing someone has made a gain at my expense, so what? Do you people ever give generously to some charity at any point of your life??
We will survive..nobody will become a begger..
