Dear lajzar,
I've got to go with Eowyn. Maybe it's my Celtic heritage, but ladies who can wield a mean broadsword (pun perhaps intended) and can also be gentle and caring (as Eowyn was in LOTR) get my vote over Ms Sparkly Pants and Ms Aloha - neither of whom would I feel too confident about were they beside me when the minions of the Dark Lord poured over the battlements.

Same goes for me. My own Celtic heritage resonates, as does johnslat's reasoning - strength and compassion prove a very nice tandem. Aloha comes in a distant second, whereas Sparkle is - well - kinda Pam Anderson-esque.

| I still think the sparkly pants one was the best on Dave's. The new one is nice too. The site she got the two animated pictures from is pretty cool. There's one of a girl with a yo-yo that is funny. |

So, Lajzar, for which avatar did you vote? 
I chose Sparkly Pants because I thought she was cute. I chose Eowyn because of her Celtic look, her strength, and the fact that my hair looked a lot like hers at the time (really long, really blonde). Now my hair looks a lot more like the third avatar's and I think her dress is very pretty. However, I don't really see her as "Asian-looking"; that's not really the look I was after.
Hmmm...I'm going to see what else I can find.  |
