Id be starting in November and they said they had a training thing on Oct 19-21 which I would be attending. My friend is at the point in the app. process as well. Still waiting on the invite

Did you finally get the letter? Without the letter would you be going on a tourist visa?

I notice they have several ads for specific places which needed someone quickly, which implies they aren't provided training in BKK.

They said all the paperwork was sent last week. So I *hope* they actually did and arent just saying so. When dealing with anything overseas, I tend not not believe anything until I see everything in person.

Still planning on the Nov date until further notice. Anyone else?

Fantastic! Good for you! I received several emails inquiring if I'd received it, but nothing yet.

I'm ready to tackle the visa, so I can make flight arrangements. Obviously, I'm rather eager to get going.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody
They make teachers life miserable with their disconnected work style
Most of their teachers looking for new job and the to get rid of this company as they are fed up to put up with their games.

Well, I've worked with them and I can't say I would again either. Let's see, my first check didn't go through because they wrote the wrong passport number. At the end, I didn't get reimbursed for my visa, visa run, and medical exam.

One teacher they hired was so bad, but in with management that they lost the school's contract. She came to work braless, drunk, late and they claimed that when the school asked for a replacement, the school didn't handle it properly.

They will tell you up front that you might not be notified of what school you will be assigned to until a couple of days before. How does one find an apartment on such short notice.

And yet they emailed I had done such a great job, the school wanted me back. Days before they admitted to loosing the contract.

I worked for them in 2010 for about 10 months and honestly, it's the luck of the draw. I was treated well, never had any problems, though another teacher in my school dealt with serious drama like not getting her paycheck and being fired without any notice (she found out when she got to school and her replacement was there). unfortunately, from friends working for other teaching companies, I hear the unorganization and sketchy staffs are pretty common in Thailand
