Hello people, I got a job awhile back at N Kyouiku, mainly goes by Nakazawa Juku, in Toyohashi, Aichi and I've been meaning to ask if anybody has heard of them. I've searched and I can't find anything from anybody on them.

While I'm at it, I figured I would ask if it's strange for a company to not sponsor a working visa until after you've gone to Japan? Thanks~

I have. I was going to work for them from the middle of next month before I found a new job in Miyagi last month. I had to email them with the bad news that I wouldn't be teaching at N Kyoiku.

I am glad Ms. Onoda was able to find someone else Very Happy

I found info on them, but it is all in Japanese

starteacher,

Thanks for the information on N Kyoiku. I'm currently considering taking a job with them (my first teaching job in Japan), but I'm a bit nervous about some things. The main thing is that they say I would be teaching 6-7 lessons per day, with each lesson being 50 minutes long. That comes out to about 25-29 teaching hours per week. I have read that it's a bad idea to take a job that has you working over 25 hours per week.. but what do you think? Given what you've seen of the school, would this be really overwhelming? Thanks a lot.

Any more opinions about the teaching hours?
