Hello everyone
I have been approached by a company called GEMS operating under the name of the School Improvement Partnership regarding work with them as a Teacher Advisor in Al Ain.
I am curious to know if anyone has any experience of working for these folks and, if so, what you may like to say/share.
Many thanks to all,
Bonhomme |

GEMS is a big operation here in the Gulf - I've never worked for them so I can't comment on how they treat employees. I've never heard of the
improvement program either - could it be a new initiative at revamping the grade school system/teaching? |

Most teachers with Gems are from New Zealand, with Australian leadership.
The teachers are not aware or use this site as they are are primary or secondary trained and have no use for ESL forums.
Gems and Cognition are two of the better private providers. |

Do a search. This has been discussed here and we have dozens of members who teach K-12 in the new UAE programs. They are likely not visiting here as much now that they are there and starting work.
The ADEC program brought in something like 400 native speaker teachers this year.
