Is it necessary to travel to DC for an employment visa, or can all material be submitted by mail?
Thank you. |

gork,
in my limited, one-time personal experience, it depends. when the saudi visa coordinator learned that my physical distance to DC was an 18-hour drive, he went ahead and set me up with a DC-based visa coordinator with whom i have had post, email, and telephone contact. this set me back 120 bucks, but is supposedly reimburseable upon submission of receipt.
hope this helps,
leez

I know people who've done it by mail. As for visa agency expenses being reimbursed or not, obviously it depends on your employer. |

We just received the work visa. Everything was done by mail--we never saw the embassy. We did, however, hire an agency to help us. |
