I've changed my standards: I'll take anyone who isn't a selfish b*stard. Which, thankfully, still leaves a good many men.

Ideal man? Hmm... interesting to think about. I'm guessing that this thread is actually asking women to describe their ideal partners. Since I'm not interested in a specific gender for any specific purpose the question posed fails to apply to me in it's current state.

Why didn't you just include w*lly optional in your reply then?
Just in case the censor obliterates that, it is w i l l y. |

That's just unfair. Selfish b@stards need love too! Besides, most women seem to prefer selfishness (and greed) as long as it's on behalf of the both of them |

HAHA HAHEE HAHA!!
I was just about to send a flaming feminist diatribe about why should women have to shave just for their men, and how dare an almost total stranger make such demands on someone, when I realised what ntropy was actually talking about....
I think I need a man who can understand the little 'mistakes' in comprehension that I make from time to time...

Alas, fair Alitas, I am betrothed to another (ain't that always the way?) who has laid seige to my heart and captured it.
Besides, I'm a geezer (there's always a downside, isn't there?)
Regretfully,

True, but they'll have to go elsewhere. I put up with a lot of crap, and will probably continue to do so for reasons beyond my own comprehension, but I draw the line at selfish b*astardness.
Still alone,

.....speaking of which...do you shave yourselves, or let your man do it for you? |

1. non-smoker
2. war, religion, abortion, gun controll...
3. Really, really good-looking. Looks totally count in my book. Good looking means dark and handsome (doesn't have to be tall) |

Phew. A few good men, yes.... Over here!!!
Perhaps Dave could expand this site into a dating service, a la lavalife.
Maybe he already has, for all I know |

I'm not sure if I match your description perfectly or not. It isn't clear whether you are pro or against everything in #2. For the record, I'm against. But other than that, we seem like a perfect match |

Hi all...
After living in Poland for 6 1/2 years and not being the requisite 50kg/110lbs women must be in order to be noticed (and I'm NOT joking!), my "requirements" for a man plummeted. First they were "relatively good looking, uni educated, funny, intelligent, good speaker of English, around my age, etc" and plummeted to "breathing". No joke, but regardless, nothing seemed to work as all the ones that were interested in me were married or otherwise engaged.
BUT, things change!
A month and a half ago I moved to Karlsruhe, Germany. A month ago I met a wonderful man. He's tall, intelligent, very good looking, funny, fluent in English, around my age, uni educated and has a very good job as a software engineer in a global firm, etc.. *sigh* I'm happy happy happy! He's Swiss, but has lived in Japan and Australia and is now trying to get his permanent residency permit in Australia. So, looks like I may be moving to the land down under sometime in the future. Which would suit me just fine.
Anyway.. Blah blah blah.. To sum up, I think I've finally found the man for me. Good luck to all the other women out here!
BTW, I'm American.. |
