There are people dying in Africa and Afghanistan and it's not because America is not peaceful, and it's not a joke.
The deaths in Afghanistan are a direct result of the American invasion; the mess is Somalia is the direct result of the American/Ethiopian invasion of 2007.

There are people dying independently of US meddling, but a lot are dying because of it.

Well, it seems people and posters from the South (of USA) know and love Christ, but do not follow or obey him!!!! Laughing Laughing

Let's check the history of Uncle Sam:

Revolutionary War 1775-1781
War of 1812 1812-1814
Civil War 1861-1865
Indian Wars and the Massacre in 1890
Spanish-American War 1898
WWI 1914-1918
WWII 1941-1945
Korean War 1950-1953
Vietnam War 1962-1974
Gulf War I 1990-1991
Gulf War II 2003-present
Afghanistan War
Furure Iran war (INshallah!) Laughing

Well, I think Christ is and will not be happy at all with the history of Uncle Sam and his folks from the south!!! Laughing

Secret Agent Man: This isn't the first time that you've referenced me and the U.S. South in the same breath. Why is it that you think that I'm a "good ol' boy"? Besides, isn't the propensity of under-educated, beer-guzzling, Dukes of Hazzard watchin' Southern "bubbas" one of violence whilst I call for "Kumbaya moments"?

Outside of that, you lookin' to pick a fight (certainly not with me) by pointing out some of the negative moments of the U.S. through its rather short (I don't consider the Revolutionary War, The War of 1812, The American Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II or the Korean War to be those of American aggression...yer jes' tryin' ta bait me) history whilst ignoring those of the place that you purport to come from/live in.

While yer at it, why don't you throw in:

The Mexican-American War
The tensions over the San Juan Islands
The American Involvement (with other nations) in the invasion of Russia in 1920 to support the White Russians
The American Involvement in the Dominican Republic
The American involvement to feed the starving Somalis
The American involvement to try to stop the genocide of Balkan Muslims
etc, etc, etc...in KNOW that I left a few out.

I understand what yer tryin' ta do. You like getting rises outta people and I can appreciate that. But, people not used to this little corner of the Internet can become incensed over such one-sided opinions.

I understand ya. I respect ya. I like ya...but others may get the wrong idea.

xox

P.s.- Are you aware that the colonials weren't revolutionaries at first? They merely sought redress with the royal court. It was none other than "ol' king george the turd" (my Irish accent is kicking in again! Laughing ) that turned them into revolutionaries.

You guys are brainwashed. There are plenty of moronic Americans, and plenty of other morons in other lands.

You're talking about the American government, and not the people, yes? Well I agree that the American government is full of corruption- and so probably does the government itself. And so are many other governments, which does not excuse a single one of them. But as far as wanting war with everyone, that is a lie. America does not go out to war for the joy of war. The only religious bombers they have in the USA are psycho brainwashed RELIGIOUS idiots who kill abortion clinic doctors thinking that that will solve something. You guys live in the Middle East, and yet have no idea what is going on in Afghanistan where some of my family members are located, or in Africa. You are as bad as the Americans who are hating Barack Obama just to hate him, just because it's the thing to do.

Although I do agree that many proclaimed followers of Christ do not truly follow His word. MANY of them.

America is not the cause of war in Afghanistan. America would have had nothing to do with Afghanistan if not for psychotic terrorists.

There is no point arguing this. People either know the truth, or attack falsely.

My biggest complaint with America is its allowing idiots like Britney Spears to be unleashed globally.

The fact that Cleopatra criticizes a march for PEACE by degrading the marchers, speaks for itself.

Let me add another--- America's relief aid funds to Iran following earthquakes in the country. EVEN during George Bush's presidency, EVEN as it was a labeled enemy of America.

Countries that only care about war don't spend a dime on their enemies.

America -the heart of America- is still good.
