				| I would especially like to hear from EFL teachers in Latin America.
What do you guys do about finding affordable health insurance?

I'm going to get certified to teach EFL very soon and I've got my heart set on teaching in Latin America. I don't have any health insurance right now, but I know that it's a necessity.

 What solutions are available?

Thanks if you can help me.

				| I yet to leave the US, so I don't know a whole lot, but I know that Costa Rica has a socialized program that is (allegedly) good care and reasonably prices.

 Buena suerte!

				| There are international insurance policies available. However, not being a resident and covered under the CCSS (or Caja), there are policies available through INS Instituto Nacional de Seguros (National Institute of Insurance) You can buy a plan through INS that will cover you in CCSS hospitals or private. | |
