|
|
I've been slogging through so many ESL/EFL websites and forums that I'm starting to go nuts! I know I've seen a list of reputable TEFL recruiting agencies (or maybe it was a list of less-than-reputable agencies) somewhere, but I can't remember where! Does anyone know what site or forum maintains such a list(s)?---thanks, Todd |

Sorry to say but the phrase "reputable TEFL recruiting agencies" is an oxymoron in my opinion. They don't exist. At the worst they are criminal, at they best they are polite 'pimps'. |

Without being 'on the ground', is there some other practical way of seeking TEFL positions (or from the schools' end, seeking teachers)

Wow... I mean, this topic is so broad.
You have not specified which country you want to work.
I mean the amount of countries plus the amount of recruiters and people who do this business it is hard and also wrong to sweep everyone with the same brush, especially if you don't know anything about them.
You have to know what you want, do alot of research and you will know what is good and bad and will see what recruiters to avoid
Although I think it is unanimously known that contacting a school directly is the best way to go. |
