I've been in touch with a kindergarten in HCMC (no solid offer yet) and they've asked me how much I'd expect to get paid.
I would basically be a homeroom teacher and work from 8:30 - 3:30 or 4pm (waiting to hear what time the kids go home and how much prep time that would include).
From what I've heard so far, it does seem like a job I'd enjoy.
I have two years experience (Korea and Japan) in similar roles but my degree is unrelated.
Saving some money would be nice but it's not the most important factor for me. How much do you think I should ask for (monthly)? |

| well, i work at a kindergarten and get paid $19 an hour. But a friend of mine who works at a different one earns only $15. Of course it really depends on how much they are willing to pay you. But i would start high and then negotiate. |
