Good Morning Everyone. I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks and have gained a lot of information. I recently registered, but this is my first post. I received an offer of a job in KSA through Skyline. I read the thread about them, but I have a question that anyone can answer. First they said I would go on a 90 day visa, return home for a work visa, then go back. This was making me very nervous. Now they say they want me to get a work visa first, which works better for me actually. But in the forms I printed off, apparently I am supposed to pay 120.00 to some outfit in DC by the name of Atlantic Travel. Is this normal? I thought all visa fees were paid by the employer or recruiter.
Thanks in advance for your responses. |

Most (not all) employers will reimburse you for visa expenses, though you still have to pay up front, and bring the receipts with you to KSA where they will refund you.
This "Atlantic Travel" would appear to be a visa agent, and the $120 is likely to be their fee. In addition to this, if you're getting a full work visa (which is a good thing in the long run), you'll also have to pay for medical tests and various fees to have various bits of paper 'notarised' or 'certified'. There will also be a fee at the embassy itself. All in all, it can add up to a few hundred euros or more. Make sure you ask them if they will refund all your visa costs before you decide to go ahead with the application. |

The instructions say they will refund the visa agent expense up to 200 US. I was just surprised. Thanks for the response. |
