is it possible to obtain a fm-3 work visa in the states? if so how difficult is it and what is needed? |

No, it is not currently possible.
You would need to enter Mexico as a tourist. You'll get a FM-T which should give you 180 days in the country as a tourist.
If you find an employer that's willing to hire and sponsor you for employment you'll then go to the nearest regional delegation of INM (National Migration Institute) with various documents and papers. Then you're pay the fee (employers rarely do) about $150 USD mas o menos.
FM-3's are temporary visitors permits which allow the holder to stay in Mexico for one year at a time and are renewable. Time spent on a FM-3 does not count towards the five years of residency requirement for Mexican citizenship. That time must be on a FM-2 which is given to immigrants who plan on staying in Mexico. The main differences between a FM-3/2 are that the FM-3 allows you to come and go as you please. On a FM-2 you can only leave Mexico 180 days in five years. And the FM-3 would not count for citizenship if you wanted to become Mexican someday. |

what do you mean by, no-name TEFL cert? |
