Hi all,

I did ask this question on another thread among various topics, but thought that it might be prudent to have one thread that gathers info on this specific question alone...

So, what are the options for young (below 5) kids if you are not working for an international school? Are standards in general education good? Are there particular local schools with (relatively) high expat populations? What's the curriculum like? Any links to schools available?

Anything at all?

And as for childcare - is it readily available and reliable / trustworthy?

Would be great to hear from parents with actual experience as trawling these threads provides a lot of speculation, which is helpful, but nothing beats actual first-hand experience.
