|
|
i'm currently in Thailand, just finishing my Celta. I have many opportunities for volunteering work in Thailand, and one starts in May. I would like to get a job (any teaching job even if the pay is crap) to keep me going until that time...i have about a 1000pounds and even if accomadation and food is paid for up until that time, it still might be a stretch. i know media kids used to do short term rural jobs, but they appear to no longer be in business. the only other short term jobs i can find are part of tefl courses...so...anyone know any public school recruiters who i can ask for short term contracts? |

I think that your best opportunity is by working for one of the many Language Schools such as ECC, Inlingua etc. |

Media kids are still in business, but this is the slow time of the year in Thailand.
Check Ajarn.com very good sight for jobs, both long and short term.

I have an email address for MediaKids recruiting staff. They are basically full right now, last I talked with them, but they sometimes have openings mid-term if people leave or get axed.
PM me if you would like a email address/phone number for them. Not sure why their website is down, but they are still around. |

It is more likely to be 'under the radar' so to speak, for very short term work anyway. |
