I'm wanting to take TEFL courses in my home country (canada ,vancouver) before relocating to HK. Can anyone tell me what designations I should get before going to HK? Or maybe someone could recommend a website or particular school (in vancouver) to go to that is widely recognized in the HK english eductation community.

-A BA in the subject you wish to teach or BEd.
-Teacher accreditation/certification for your country/state/province
-3 years experience
-CELTA if you wish to teach EFL
Basically you want the exact quals as if you were going to teach HS in Canada or the USA. |
