Not sure that johnslat is an "anglo". Given his celtic ancestry and his democratic tendencies I would say he is more of a "gringo" than an "anglo". Maybe "anglo" means something different in the US context ?
Certainly not with King George ! I hope to have a chance to check it out more closely when I eventually get to visit the "Land of the Free" ! |

Dear eclectic,
"Oh, the pomp! Yep those anglos are their own worst enemies."
Rather like the defensive inferiority complex displayed by all too many
"non-anglos," who seem to find some satisfaction in making vapid gemeralizing about the faults of all anglos.
