Dear Kalima Shahada,

One more time:
Having a legal employment visa is not a guarantee that you will have a satisfying, enjoyable job in Saudi.
Having an illegal visa is not a guarantee that you will have a miserable, unsatisfying job in Saudi.
BUT - while there are NO guarantees, the odds are MUCH higher that an illegal visa will result in your getting screwed.
And once again, let me state that it's my opinion that by encouraging prospective teachers to follow the illegal visa route, you are being irresponsible and misleading.

Everyone must give up and bow down to the superior knowledge demonstrated by Ms Shahada. The large numbers of you who have been living and working in KSA for up to 30 years for dozens of different employers couldn't possibly know more than her. Her one experience with a bad employer who provided her with legal working documents greatly trumps all the rest of your experience.
Everyone knows that the absolute most important factor to consider when taking any job is your ability to abscond in dark of night on your own terms if they do something that doesn't please you. No other factor could possibly be of any importance.
So, all of you job hunting out there... remember... the employer that you want to work for is the one who breaks the law from day one. Surely that shows how efficient he is... and how assiduous he will be at following all of the other things that he puts in your contract. But then, when he doesn't pay you your salary and your housing is a hovel and your contact hours are 35 a week instead of the 22 in the contract...
You can leave without telling anyone. Great advice!!
I think I will ask the Mods to make this a sticky so everyone knows what to do.

Incitement, instigation, aiding and abetting illegal acts imply equal or worse punishment on the offender than the actual perpetrator. In this case Kalima Shahada(I think she chose the name out of pure guilt) won't be anywhere near when a poor guy who followed her advice gets caught or is unceremoniously kicked out without being paid. |

Thank God I never had to take (or is that give?) the stools test. However, from what I gather about the container one has to get the sample into, one needs to be more precise than Michael Jordan yet with the skills and agility of a contortion artist...!! |

Even chimpanzees know how to get ants on a twig. Don't you have matchsticks in your home?
