I've booked to do a CELTA course in Bournemouth in March. Of course, now I'm having doubts.... I want to go and work in the Middle East. In fact, let's start from the beginning.... I'm 24, female, Brit. I have a BA Hons (1st class) in Linguistics and German. I also study Arabic, and want to move to the Middle East for a few years to improve it (it's pretty bad at the moment though).
I spent 3 years working/studying in Germany, and taught English on a causual 1-to1 basis, so though I have experience (sort of), but I have no references in this field.
So, what d'you think my chances are?

ps. sorry for the information overload, but I need a bit of reassurance.....

Try Oman.

Highlight your linguistics training, multilingual abilities, international studies and honours degree. Many with less or equivalent qualification are employed in the Middle East.

Have a look at some of the previous posts. The Middle East normally requires an MA in TESOL or Applied Linguistics and a few years experience for the decent jobs. But I believe you can get a rather undecent job with your experience and qualifications.
