| Just say my employer is saying he's trying to get me the work visa, but in the mean time how do I rent an apt. for my wife and me if I'm not legal yet? Should I in the meantime request my employer to co-sign or put the place in his name or what? |

| No problem rent away. The landlord and estate agent will not be bothered as long as you come up wih the deposit and pay every month. The major downside is it your employer does not get you a work permit then you are of course working illegally and have few rights. But again as long as you keep out of trouble you should be ok. If he says he saysays he is trying that does not sound to good. |

Yep, no problem at all. Renting is not an issue, and you can get away with much cheekier things while working illegally. I taught classes of police officers |
