Hi...I know this isnt a tourism board but since you guys are ESL teachers and live in Taiwan...I thought you'd have the best advice.

I'm visiting Taiwan just after the New Year for a few days and I was wondering if you could recommend interesting and inexpensive things to do. I'll definitely be in Taipei. Is the country difficult/expensive to travel in? And is there plenty to do?
