But you've got to admire his determination:
"OK I will try my best to get 50"!!!
Getting a 50 out of a possible 40 isn't too easy.

That wasn't 'determination', that is a case of dyscalculia, as far as that student goes.
And no, I didn't fail him, he failed himself. I just recorded an 'F' in the grading system! |

This must be an insurmountable problem when it comes to Accreditation. Any accrediting body wants to know
1. How are students selected for admission ?
2. How are students deemed to have reached the level required for graduation ?
The first question can be squirmed out of by waffling about "open access", but the second......................... |

Yes, but those are normally only used to intake. I believe that accreditation is looking more at content courses... programs, syllabus and such.
For instance when I taught accounting at HCT. The course was so dumbed down that even though we had nearly triple the hours per week and three more weeks in a semester... we covered about 30% of what would have been covered in the same course with the same textbook in the US.
That is the sort of stuff that needs to be "cooked" to get accreditation from an outside organization.
