Hello all you new teachers that have found your way onto eslcafe! No doubt you'll have lots of questions about teaching in Poland. Well, to help you out, I've created a website which should tell you most things you'll want to know as a new teacher (don't worry, we've all been there).

www.teachingenglishinpoland.com

I've linked eslcafe extensively throughout as this website helped me out when I first moved to Poland although all of the information within (with the exception of the paperwork bit) are my own thoughts.

Hopefully you'll all find it of some use and regular posters here please feel free to comment!

Good job!

A bit more on daily life in Poland or Polish culture would be crackin'!

Good, informative site. Did you write that all by yourself? Smile

I don't think Polish is the hardest lang in the world for English natives to learn. Definitely in the top 10 tho.

I agree that more info about daily life and culture in Poland is needed.

Thanks for the positive comments and feedback.

I shall work on a Polish women tab, as yet I've no idea what format it'll take:
hairiest lady moustache of the week?
Sexiest top competition (roll on the summer)
I shall have to think carefully about this ...

Culture and social life can be adressed by links I suppose, but then I'd have to do that for every city - don't know if I want to do that.

I do need a favour (payable in beer) though - can someone who knows about the paperwork side of things, look through the paperwork links and see if there's anything wrong with it? It was borrowed from another site with permission (thanks Andre) but I got my knuckles wrapped on another Polish forum about some inaccuracies.
