Something like that. They actually call it 5 hours a day of teaching and 30 minutes a day of lesson planning. The really cheeky bit is that there is also a mandatory 30 minutes a day of thumb twiddling right next to lesson planning. ("The Teacher must arrive for any scheduled teaching in a Shane school at least one hour before the first scheduled class..."). I could go on....

Buy a bag that you can pee in because when I was working for shane they gave me 4 classes in a row with no break!

So 30 mins to prepare for 6 hours of lessons and no way of taking the materals home with you overnight?

Wow, smart.

Do you have to teach Shane's prescribed stuff or can you create your own lessons? Because 30 mins planning will give me enough time to plan maybe 3 hours at best.

BTW is it true that they do not have a photocopier, and that you must make AND PAY for all your photocopies you make?
