If I were you, I would stay at home and raise my child, especially because the child has special needs. I would also attend some workshops/do some courses (in US/Europe) on how to care for a child such as mine.
I mean, if the income from my husband is more than sufficient, why not? I can make SR. 10,000/month when my child is 5, but my child will never be 2 again, an age where massive amounts of parental involvement is crucial. |

As I sometimes do, I agree with Trapezius here.
Get some help around the house. Spend time with your child. Maybe do some part time work from home ? |

I agree that with a special needs child, s/he might be better off with your direct care. (not knowing the specifics here, of course)
How about doing some private lessons?

Luvs,
Based on my experience here so far in Saudi, you can expect to get paid more than 10,000 riyals. I don't think it would be a problem. A lot of the universities here need women to teach.
I have been in Madina for a while now, I get paid a good amount of money and I only have a BA (Sociology) and a TEFL certificate (just graduated with no experience).
Insha'Allah everything will work out for you, it isn't that hard to keep searching for the right employment. Keep hustling and you will find a way. Just like the Quran says, with every hardship comes ease.
May Allah (swt) bless you and your family. Ameen. |

Have you looked at ELS in Riyadh?
Try that, I'm sure you will get a job.
They pay around 11-12,000 riyals.
Hope this helps,
Peace. |
