Although getting a visa for me on arrival in Hanoi is easy,my wife has a problem. She is Sudanese and we are living in Russia. Vietnam has no diplomatic relations with Sudan and it appears the only way forward entails getting a police check and medical check, then having them notarized before emailing them to Hanoi; is that feasible in Russia, bearing in mind we have been here only 4 months? Any thoughts?

and the site has really been slowing down, so you may not find much (or any) expertise on this one. I would probably go for professional help on it, I have gone thru the major league visa process a couple of times, it can be huge even for something straightforward. I think the cost would be worth it on this one.
