Hello all,

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to ESL teaching.
I'm still in college and will graduate in a month. I'd like to use the summer as my last hoorah and time to make money for start-up costs in Taiwan.

I want to teach in Taiwan. I'm not limiting myself to Taiwan; if I can't find a job I'll look elsewhere, but Taiwan is my number one. I actually applied (and got rejected) to the JET programme.

What I'm wondering is - am I too late/early to apply if I want to teach in August? When do companies do most of their hiring? I'm looking to secure a job before I arrive there.

I've sent out applications/resumes to a bunch of well-known companies - Gloria, Hess, and a few others. I have an interview with Hess, but I haven't heard much back from the other companies.[/b]
