I won't be able to go through the CELTA course due to scheduling problems and I was wondering if anyone knew any other courses for TEFL/TESOL n Egypt. I would like to do my training in country and was hoping someone here could help out.

I was able to get in touch with a few people who did TEFL International in Alexandria, and actually my g/f lived with someone who did it, and it seems to be a reputable program. We chose CELTA because, well, it's the CELTA. The woman who runs the program there does a great job, and I would do anything you could to try to make their schedule fit.

If you're interested, AUC has a Master's program. Veiled Sentiments can give you a good low-down on that if you ask nicely.
